Issue 01 · The SEO intelligence platform for B2B SaaS

The SEO intelligence platform that turns search data into revenue, not just rankings.

MarketEson unifies keyword research, rank tracking, competitor intel, and content gap analysis into a single workflow — so in-house SEO teams ship ranking content in days, not quarters. We replace four to six disconnected SEO tools with one platform built by people who have actually ranked sites through nine Google core updates.

Chapter I · The problem

Your ranking content ships in quarters because your SEO stack ships in pieces.

Every in-house SEO director knows the feeling. Keyword research lives in one tab. Rank tracking lives in another. Competitor intel lives in a spreadsheet someone exported last Friday. Content briefs get drafted in a doc and forgotten in a Slack thread. None of the tools talk to each other, so the team spends Mondays copying data between dashboards instead of shipping pages that rank.

The math is unforgiving. When four to six disconnected tools each charge $99 to $499 per month, your "all-in" SEO platform quietly costs the company more than a senior hire — and still leaves your content team waiting three weeks for a brief that should take twenty minutes. We've watched the same pattern repeat at more than 2,140 teams across 47 countries.

"We had six logins, four CSV exports a week, and a quarterly content calendar that lived in three places. Our briefs took three hours each. Now they take eleven minutes."

— Director of SEO, mid-market B2B SaaS (anonymized, G2 review)

MarketEson was built to collapse that stack. One subscription. One workflow. One dataset that flows from keyword discovery to published ranking page — without the exports, the copy-paste, and the Monday-morning reconciliation.

Chapter II · The methodology

Four steps. One dataset. Ranking content shipped in days.

Every MarketEson workflow runs against the same 4.2-billion-keyword SERP dataset — so the brief your writer receives is built from the exact SERP the algorithm just served.

  1. I

    Keyword research

Discover parent topics, long-tails, and question clusters across 180 markets and 12 search engines — filtered by intent, difficulty, and business fit, not just volume.

    • 4.2B keywords indexed daily
    • 12 search engines
    • Daily refresh cadence
  2. II

    Rank tracking

Track your target keywords at the city, device, and SERP-feature level — including native visibility inside Google AI Overviews and SearchGPT results, launched Q3 2024.

    • 2.1M SERP analyses / hour at peak
    • 180 geographic markets
    • AI Overview tracking included
  3. III

    Competitor intel

See which pages earn your competitors' rankings, which backlinks moved the needle, and which content gaps they haven't filled yet — surfaced as opportunities, not just dashboards.

    • New vs. lost keywords
    • Share-of-voice by topic cluster
    • Backlink movement alerts
  4. IV

    Content gap analysis

Generate a single-click content brief — outline, target entities, SERP-feature requirements, internal-link suggestions, and word-count guidance — in roughly eleven minutes, not three hours.

    • 11 min average brief time
    • 3 hours replaced
    • 63% faster time-to-rank (avg.)

Chapter III · The proof

Three capabilities that quietly replace the rest of your stack.

Featured capability · 01

Single-click content briefs in eleven minutes.

One click turns a target keyword into a complete brief — H2 outline, target entities, SERP-feature requirements, internal-link suggestions, competitor headings, and word-count guidance — pulled from the same SERP your writer is about to compete in. What used to take three hours now takes about eleven minutes, across 1,800+ customer sites.

  • 11 min average brief production
  • 63% faster time-to-rank since 2021
  • 1,800+ customer sites shipping faster

Capability · 02

Native visibility inside Google AI Overviews and SearchGPT.

We were the first mid-market SEO platform to ship native tracking for both Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT's search results — so you can see when your brand appears, when it doesn't, and which citations are pulling the weight.

  • Q3 2024 launch
  • First in mid-market SEO tooling
  • Citation source attribution
Capability · 03

4.2 billion keywords. 180 markets. One SERP dataset.

Every MarketEson workflow runs against the same daily-refreshed SERP dataset — the largest commercial one in mid-market SEO tooling — so keyword research, rank tracking, competitor intel, and content briefs never disagree about the data underneath.

  • 4.2B keywords tracked daily
  • 180 geographic markets
  • 12 search engines

Chapter IV · The receipts

Chapter V · The founders

Built by engineers who shipped SEO tooling before MarketEson existed.

MarketEson was founded in 2019 in Austin, Texas, by Daniel Reyes — a former principal engineer at Searchmetrics — and Priya Shankar, an ex-Ahrefs data scientist. Between them, they had shipped SEO products through nine Google core updates and watched the same stack-of-tools problem metastasize inside every in-house team they worked with.

So they built the consolidation they wished they'd had. Today MarketEson is a 47-person team across six countries — 31 in engineering and data science — that has shipped 11 product releases in 24 months, closed a $34M Series B led by Insight Partners in March 2024, and grown customer base 312% from 2022 to 2024.

"We didn't build MarketEson because the category needed another dashboard. We built it because every SEO team we knew was paying for six tools and using two of them. The consolidation is the product."
